In Shadows We Bloom
Step into a world bursting with colour, where each piece radiates a vibrant energy reminiscent of a beautiful field in full bloom or a bouquet heralding the arrival of spring. As you immerse yourself in this lively display, you will find yourself enveloped in a warm embrace that offers solace and hope, even amidst the many shadows that define our current age.
The title of the exhibition, "In Shadows We Bloom," hints at the complexities of life, where moments of darkness often coexist with bursts of brightness and growth. It is therefore a celebration of resilience and the beauty that emerges from adversity.
Within the vibrant array of colours, you will discover deeper layers of meaning unveiling the power of art to reflect and respond to the world around us. René Whirts' striking use of yellow and blue, unmistakably pays homage to the Ukrainian flag, while Daniel Firman's thought-provoking sculptures offer a poignant reflection on our consumption behaviour. Concurrently, Helen Beard boldly reclaims erotic imagery, celebrating female desire and agency. Furthermore, fresh works will be on view by Harland Miller, Gregory Crewdson, Erwin Wurm, Keith Coventry, Gavin Turk, and others.
